I don’t normally do this but yesterday was special
I have been going to Dr Curtis for almost 18 years. He is my most trusted physician
He is always caring and professional
Yesterday he noticed my limp. I told him I thought sciatica had returned
He asked if my primary had recommended an MRI. I said no
He took the time to look up my medical history and told me I needed an MRI of my lower back and spine
At that point, he was not my urologist but a medical doctor caring for a patient
He actually wrote me a “work order “ for an MRI, so we can get to the root cause of this problem

Found it odd that all this doctor wanted to discuss was him doing surgery as soon as possible. No discussion of other options available to me. When I said I was not going to rush a decision the doctors demeaner changed .
